North Devon could be hit by more strong winds and large waves on Saturday morning. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning from 5am-midday on Saturday with the weather passing close to the South West. A chief forecaster said: The most likely scenario is that winds will remain light over the bulk of the area. However, please be aware that there is a low risk of gusts of 60-80 mph and large waves affecting coastal Devon and Cornwall . A vigorous depression is expected to run over the southwest of England on Saturday morning bringing some heavy rain in advance, and very strong winds on its southern flank. However, there is some doubt about its track, with some computer models taking it further north to allow very strong winds to affect South West England more widely, so the alert at this stage is for a low probability of disruption.
