SHRIEKS of agony will be accompanied by the sound of charity coffers filling at the eagerly anticipated Wax On Wax Off event being held at the Mariners Arms in Braunton on Saturday, May 15.
Several brave male souls have volunteered to endure the sponsored hair waxing to help raise money for Paddle4Relief and its work with poor communities in Sri Lanka.
The event kicks off at 7pm, with beauticians from Braunton's Pure Skin and Beauty salon volunteering their time to inflict the waxing on their poor helpless victims.
There is a chance for the audience to get in on the act and raise even more money, with various body parts being auctioned off for waxing on the night!
