PEOPLE living in coastal villages from Croyde through to Ilfracombe have joined forces to make a difference in the fight against climate change. Under the banner of Coastal Climate Action, villagers from communities which also include Woolacombe, Georgeham, Mortehoe and Lee, will be gathering tomorrow (Thursday) to launch their new campaign. It will take place at Woolacombe Village Hall from 7.30pm and include a free showing of the award-winning film An Inconvenient Truth. Through a website currently being built, campaigns and practical projects the group hopes to provide information and support for a range of projects.
