Bridgerule Village Hall is having a Family Play Day as part of the national Play Week and in conjunction with Torridge District Council's bid for Big Lottery Play Funding.The event will be on Thursday, August 7between 11am and 2.30pm. It is free but families are asked to provide their own packed lunches.There will be a range of activities provided by a number of agencies including CASP, Children's Centre, Holsworthy Resources Centre, Thorne Manor Day Nursery and Family Learning. These activities will include face painting, soft play, a bouncy castle and circus skills. Executive Member for Children and Young People's Services, Cllr John Smith, said: "I hope that this event goes well. It's a great opportunity for families to spend some quality time together and enjoy themselves as a family.
