Vegetables help Children’s Hospice

Three brothers have raised money for Children’s Hospice Southwest through selling their vegetables

THREE brothers have raised more than �1,000 for Children’s Hospice Southwest by selling fresh vegetables.

Les, Michael and Bertie Curtis have generated a total of �1,063 out of their allotment in Appledore to help support families across Devon living with children with a life-limiting illness.

Les Curtis said: “Our pleasure is derived from growing the vegetables and we are so proud to be able to do this and support such a wonderful charity.”

Customers are said to have travelled from as far as Crediton to buy the Curtis brother’s fresh produce.
