Are you brave enough to take the Valentines Day Dip at Combe Martin this Sunday morning for Childrens Hospice South West? Forget red roses and chocolates - the thing you need to do this Valentines Day is run in the sea for charity. The hospice is inviting brave souls to help celebrate its 25th Anniversary year by taking the plunge at Combe Martin beach at 10am. Registration starts at 9am on the beach and there will be hot drinks and a raffle available at The Dolphin Inn opposite. For a small donation, the charity would love people to take a sea dip and join in the fun. Jayne Jarrett, events fundraiser at the Little Bridge House hospice in Fremington said: It may be a crazy idea, but its certainly a different way to celebrate Valentines Day. Wed love to see fancy dress and all ages are welcome, with parental consent. All we ask is a donation to dip to help us to make the most of short and precious lives.
