Anyone interested in filling the vacancy should apply to the town clerk.

He or she should enclose no more than two sideds of A4 paper explaining why they wish to become a town councillor and what they could contribute to the work of the council.

Anyone wishing to discuss the role beforehand may contact any of the existing councillors or the town clerk.

Applications must be submitted to the town clerk at the Council Offices in Castle Hill, South Street, Great Torrington by Monday, May 24.
