The A361 was closed for 11 hours on Sunday following the head-on collision between two vehicles
A woman was left with serious injuries after a head-on collision on the North Devon Link Road between Landkey and West Buckland yesterday (Sunday).
Emergency services were called at 4.05pm after a Land Rover Freelander and Skoda Yeti collided with each other.
The passenger of the Yeti, a woman in her 30s, was cut from the car by the fire service and taken to North Devon District Hospital before being transferred to Derriford in Plymouth.
The man driving the Yeti and a woman driving the Freelander received minor injuries and were treated at NDDH.
The road was closed 11 hours to be cleared and for the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit to carry out an investigation.
Police have appealed for anyone who saw the collision or the vehicles travelling on the A361 beforehand, to call 101, quoting log 501 of 24/01/16.
