INVESTIGATIONS are continuing into the death of a two-and-a-half week old baby boy. Police were called to an address in Bideford on February 10 following reports the infant was seriously ill - he was taken to North Devon District but was pronounced dead.

INVESTIGATIONS are continuing into the death of a two-and-a-half week old baby boy.Police were called to an address in Bideford on February 10 following reports the infant was seriously ill - he was taken to North Devon District but was pronounced dead.The baby boy's 25-year-old mother and 35-year-old father were at home at the time the ambulance was called.The autopsy has just been completed at Great Ormond Street specialist children's hospital in London, but no further details have been released at this time.A statement released by police said: "As is normal in all unexpected deaths, the police were called and are working with medical professionals to help determine the cause of death.
