DEATH defying television escapologist, Merlin Cadogan, will be making his pantomime debut at Barnstaple's Queen's Theatre this Christmas, North Devon Theatres announced today (Monday).
The Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist will be joining the cast of Cinderella which opens at on Thursday, December 10 and runs until Sunday, January 3.
North Devon Theatres' chief executive, Alan Giddings, said: "We're delighted that Merlin is going to join us this Christmas. He's already talking about which illusions he can bring to the show and is looking forward to entertaining the audience 'close-up' in the foyer before the performance too so it's a great chance for kids to meet Merlin."
This year's pantomime cast also stars Mark Reeves as Buttons (Panto Jack from last year); Jacquelyn Kent as Cinderella; Vivienne McMaster as the Fairy Godmother (and choreographer); and Ugly Sisters, Anthony Stuart-Hicks and David Phipps-Davis.
