Tributes have been paid to a Barnstaple motorcyclist who died in a collision on Sunday. Aiden Platt, 20, was killed in the collision at the A3125 at Sticklepath on Sunday afternoon. His mother and stepfather, Mandy and John Glass, paid tribute to Aiden, saying he would be deeply missed. In a statement released through Devon and Cornwall Police they said: Aiden attended Newport Primary Park Community School and Petroc. He had worked in This Is It stores, in Barnstaple as a retail assistant for several years. He was very easy going. laid back and quiet with a good sense of humour. He had a love of music festivals and concerts, motoring and motor sports, and spending time with his large extended family, many of whom live locally. He has a lovely close knit group of friends from school and college who are all deeply shocked and have been paying tribute in person and on Facebook. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends and especially his younger brother Callum. A 28-year-old woman from Hampshire was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been bailed.
