He took on the role of lead member for the environment at the beginning of this councils term and was hugely involved this role, working diligently for residents not only in his ward but for residents across the whole of Torridge. I was greatly saddened to hear of his death and his considerable contribution to our council will be very much missed. He tackled his role with great enthusiasm and his position was always fully supported by comprehensive research. Im sad that we have lost such a dedicated and effective councillor.
