A North Devon teenager holidaying with her family has been found dead on a beach at a resort in India.Local police are investigating after Scarlett Keeling, 15, was discovered at Anjuna in Goa while on an extended six-month holiday with her family.Initial reports suggested the Torridgeside teenager had simply drowned but it is now feared she was raped and murdered, since it is understood a post mortem has revealed she suffered "substantial" bruising. Her body was found on February 18 and Indian police are now reinvestigating the circumstances of her death.Scarlett was a former pupil at the Small School in Hartland. Her mother Fiona MacKeown has remained in Goa while the inquiry continues.
