POLICE are asking motorists to be aware of potential traffic disruptions at Instow on Friday (November 12) during the funeral of the former international test cricket umpire David Shepherd.

The 12 noon event is expected to be attract a large amount of mourners and it is likely this will cause traffic and parking disruption in the village.

The road expected to be mainly affected is the B3233, Anstey Way, Instow.

There will be parking available at the usual village car parks at Sandhills, and the council car parks within the village.
