THE Royal Horticultural Society will be showing its support for Armed Forces Day on Saturday with a floral tribute at RHS Garden Rosemoor.
The Torrington gardens will join three other RHS gardens in re-creating the Armed Forces Day Union Jack in a special bed for visitors to see.
The design is based on the traditional colours of the Union Jack using a number of plants including Ajuga "Chocolate Chip"; Senecio serpens; Alternanthera leh "H- Bright Red"; Helichysum ambiguum "Korma"; and Sempervivum tectrorum "Rubin".
Chris Bailes, RHS Garden Rosemoor curator, said: "We look forward to welcoming visitors to the garden to see the flag and hope it will inspire them in their own planting design."
