Torrington crowns next carnival queen

Great Torrington School pupil has been chosen as the 2014 carnival queen.
GREAT Torrington School has announced the next carnival queen for the town.
Eva Chokarian, 16 will be crowned as carnival queen on Wednesday, April 30, with the carnival taking place on Saturday, May 3.
She will be attended by Sophie Hill, 16 and Lotte Swain, 15, both in year 11.
Louise Leonard, of Great Torrington School, said: “An election took place at Great Torrington School with all five candidates putting themselves forward.
