ALL Torridge District Council's refuse and recycling vehicles are operating today (Friday) and, where safe to do so, will continue the collection service across the area.
Crews are doing their best to deal with the collection backlog caused by the snow and ice.
Torrington and Holsworthy car parks remain closed due to the ice as do the Bridge Street and Honestone Street cart parks in Bideford.
Communications officer Ian Hayter said: "We ask the public to continue to exercise extreme care when using any other car park.
