Top award for Barnstaple Rotarian

TIM Neve, well known golfer and former branch manager of a builders merchants has received one of the highest accolades in the Rotary movement. He has been presented with the Paul Harris Fellowship by Martin Chamberlain, retiring president of Barnstaple

TIM Neve, well known golfer and former branch manager of a builders merchants has received one of the highest accolades in the Rotary movement.

He has been presented with the Paul Harris Fellowship by Martin Chamberlain, retiring president of Barnstaple Link Rotary Club of which he has been a member for many years.

He is responsible for the club's annual charity fund-raising golf competition which this year attracted record numbers and raised over �4,000 for the Samaritans.

"Thanks to Tim's efforts and the committee he chairs, we have raised thousands of pounds for good causes and Tim will be at the forefront of the charity shop dedicated to local charities that we will again be opening soon", said Mr Chamberlain.
