THE new name for North Devon College has been given the thumbs down by voters in an on-line North Devon Gazette web poll.
Of the 230 people who voted, 84 per cent said they didn't like the name Petroc, the new name for the combined North Devon College at Barnstaple and East Devon College in Tiverton.
Sixteen per cent liked the new name, revealed by the college last month.
