Throw your teddy from a plane

People in North Devon invited to send a soft toy substitute for a sponsored teddy parachute jump.

THE British Red Cross is urging local fund raisers to “grin and bear” this May.

The charity is inviting people to send their favourite teddy bear to event on Dunkeswell Airfield between May 11-13, as Skydive UK Ltd instructors strap as many teddies as possible to their suits before leaping from the plane.

Bears must be no taller than 40 centimetres, registration costs �10 and each soft toy must raise a minimum of �50 sponsorship.
