Fire crews called to rescue three people stuck in flood water

Fire crews were called to rescue two adults and a child who in a vehicle stuck in flood water at 8.27pm yesterday (Saturday).

Two fire engines from Torrington and Hatherleigh arrived at Beaforr Bridge, in Mill Lane, with Specialist Rescue Team from Barnstaple.

On arrival crews got the water rescue and water safety equipment ready.

By 9.12pm all occupants were safely out of the flood water.
