THREE West Buckland sixth formers who set their sights on Oxford or Cambridge to continue their further education have gained offers at the universities of their choice.Deputy head of school, Amyus Bale, 18, will read English at Wadham College, Oxford, while talented cellist and pianist Pip Ash, 17, hopes to read law at Churchill College, Cambridge. Laura Schofield, 18, has an "open offer" to read law, which means her college will be allocated once her A-level results are known.Laura certainly saw stars when she opened her GCSE results with a clean sweep of eleven A* grades. Amyus achieved 11 A or A* grades, while Pip was close behind with ten A or A* grades.
