NORTH Devon's finest food and drink will be on show at Barnstaple Pannier Market when Foodfest returns for a third year this Sunday.

The event, sponsored by Mole Valley Farmers, will celebrate the region's food, drink and produce, and will showcase more than 70 local food and drink producer stands, chef demonstrations, free tastings and live music.

FoodFest 2010 will see local food hero and 2008 Master Chef winner, James Nathan giving live cookery demonstrations and organisers North Devon Plus are confident the event will see an increase on the 8,000 who enjoyed last year.

Winners of the annual North Devon Food awards - the region's best local restaurant, pub and producers as voted for by members of the public - will all be unveiled at the event.
