Thieves take £12,000 in computers from Bray Leino

Appeal for witnesses after break in at Filleigh business.

POLICE are appealing for information after £12,000 in IT equipment was stolen from Bray Leino at Filleigh.

The break in at the communications agency occurred on Wednesday, February 20, with nine computers plus equipment taken.

Inspector Roger Bartlett said police had not ruled out the possibility the burglary could be connected to a similar incident at Shebbear College early last month, when £22,000 of equipment was stolen.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in or around the Bray Leino site at Filleigh during the early hours of February 20 is asked to contact police by dialling 1010, quoting CS/13/66.
