BRAUNTON police are seeking information about three thefts from cars in the village overnight on January 11/12.

In each of the incidents a small side window was smashed in the cars and glove compartments were searched. Among items stolen were two satellite navigation systems.

Two of the thefts took place in the Brittons and the other was in South Street in Braunton.

Police say that while this type of crime is quite rare in Braunton, they would advice vehicle owners to try and park their vehicles in well lit areas and to keep all valuables out of sight.
