Westcountry favourites The Wurzels will be performing at Devon County Show for the first time next month.

Westcountry icons The Wurzels will be performing at the Devon County Show for the first time, entertaining exhibitors and invited guests at an exclusive event on the first day of the show.

Leading Devon law firm Stephens Scown LLP has teamed up with the Devon County Show to bring The Wurzels to the Westpoint showground.

The four-piece group will be playing its famous hits including Combine Harvester and I am a Cider Drinker at an exclusive event for livestock exhibitors and invited guests on May 21.

Susie Murray, a partner in the rural services team at Stephens Scown in Exeter, said: "We wanted to do something really different at the show this year and think The Wurzels will be the perfect way for livestock exhibitors, our clients and guests to let their hair down and have fun after a busy first day at the show.

"A lot of serious business takes place at the Devon County Show, but there is room for fun too - and what better way to have fun than being entertained by Westcountry legends The Wurzels."

The Devon County Show takes place from May 21-23 at Westpoint near Exeter.
