The Dolphin on The Quay was all set to open on Saturday but the big freeze meant its suppliers were unable to get ingredients through to it in time for opening. The fully refurbished restaurant owned by the Kelleher family has had a full refurbishment and now has seven new fryers, a new walk-in takeaway area and a new frontage. Owner Steve Kelleher, who runs it with his wife Cheree and son Ben, said it had now been in the family for some 18 years. He said: Its an extensive refurbishment we have taken the front of the building out so we can open it right up. Its an introduction to the new season and with new staff.
