Thank you for support

SIR - Thank you for your support!

After a century-and-a-half of caring for people in need, the Salvation Army today is helping more people than ever before.

Unfortunately, we here in Bideford Corps are no longer able to make the door-to-door collections for our Army’s Annual Appeal.

However, we say a very sincere ‘thank you’ to everyone at Tesco’s Store in Bideford for allowing us to make a collection in their store on Saturday, August 18. It was good to meet with the lovely people who gave so generously to us.

The total collected was 144.21 and this money has been deposited in the Corps Annual Appeal account.

As the leader of Bideford Corps, I would like to say a very big ‘thank you’ to everyone who helped on that day. It was good to meet with, and chat with the customers who were visiting the store.

If anyone would like to know more about the work being done by The Salvation Army please ask any of our collectors for a leaflet.
