Creation Fest , in partnership with Christian Surfers UK, will be hosting a couple of new exciting surf projects over the weekend of August 1s - 3.The first is the "Big Move" surf challenge, which is a 32-person maximum, surf contest to be held at the low tide break at Combesgate Beach, just north of Woolacombe main Beach. This will be a knock out competition with cash prizes for the finalists, and £150 for the winner. The winners will be presented with their prizes at the main stage at the 'Creation Fest' free music and skate festival, being held two miles away at the top of Woolacombe Hill. In addition to this, also on the Friday evening at 7:30pm, there will be the European movie premiere of the brand new "Walking on Water" movie. Pro surfer Cheyne Cottrell, one of the featured surfers, will be at the event. He will be visiting the UK for the weekend and, as well as assisting at the surf competition, he will be doing interviews at the Creation Fest site. This showing is in advance the main tour which comes to Europe later in September 2008.Entrance to the music and skate festival is completely free .A 6,000sq ft outside skate park being built specially for the event, featuring top Skate professionals from the USA.
