SIR - I and my family are appalled by persistent attacks on our Mayor, Cllr Caroline Church.In the three years we have lived in East-the-Water I consider Caroline and her husband Mike do more for the community than most.The work undertaken includes the refurbishment of Pollyfield Community Centre and many other areas of community assistance.I can name no other councillor or local personage who, in spite of a fear of flying, would, could and did jump from an aircraft just to support one of her chosen charities, Help for Heroes.I would question any or all of her attackers to match the courage and sincerity shown by Caroline.
