Summer fayre gets some star ‘Flava’

Britain’s Got Talent dance act thrills crowds at Barnstaple family event

BRITAIN’S Got Talent semi-finalists Flava thrilled visitors at a summer fayre held in Barnstaple.

The dance act held dance sessions for North Devon Homes’ tenants and their families as part of a “customer fayre” at Barnstaple Football Club.

More than 300 people came along to enjoy the displays, talk to NDH staff and partner organisations and take part in the fun and games, which also included displays by the Barnstaple Town Majorettes and even a penguin and meerkat from Combe Martin Wildlife Park.

Director of neighbourhoods, Donna Baddeley, said: “North Devon Homes is all about bringing people and their communities together and this was a great opportunity to celebrate the support and camaraderie that exists in the North Devon communities where we work.”
