MORE than 200 degree students from Petroc, formerly North Devon College, pared through the streets of Barnstaple this morning in their academical finery.

The successful graduates, in gowns and mortar boards, made their way up the High Street to St Peter and St Mary Magdalene Church for the annual award ceremony.

They were led by Ilfracombe Town Crier Roy Goodwin, the Mayor of Barnstaple, Councillor Jeremy Phillips and the college faculty including Principal David Dodd.
