Stolen jewellery appeal

Opal ring, silver racing car and Victorian locket stolen from house near Brayford.

DETECTIVES have asked people in North Devon to be on the look out for stolen jewellery and silver after a burglary near Brayford.

A distinctive woman’s Rhodesian opal ring was among items taken from a home at Charles on October 25, sometime between 7am-7.30pm.

A silver racing car engraved with the name Cane and a silver Victorian locket were also stolen.

Police have asked anyone who has been offered any of these items or who has any other information to call them on 101, quoting crime ref CS/12/509 or in confidence via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
