Staff see purple for kidney charity

STAFF at Tarka Housing swapped its usual blue colours for the day in favour of purple to raise money for Kidney Research UK.

The lavender, mauve and violet-hued staff raised 65 for the charity on March 23.

Distinctly purple cupcakes were supplied by Emma Govier, and the office was adorned in balloons and posters.

Nigel Barnard, managing director of Tarka Housing, said: “Kidney Research UK is dedicated to funding life-saving research into kidney disease and generating public awareness of kidney health.

“Given March 8 is National Kidney Awareness day, Tarka Housing thought it was a great time to show our support for this worthwhile charity.”
