STAFF from Bray Leino BroadSkill have taken a much-needed break from running one of the country's most successful training companies to spend a day helping to improve the grounds and facilities at North Devon Hospice.
Part of Bray Leino, the Filleigh-based national marketing communications agency, the group of 22 staff decorated rooms, cleaned out an overgrown pond, built a new garage for the patient buggy, created new storage areas and tidied up some storage spaces.
The challenge was organised in partnership with Business in the Community's "Cares" scheme in which employees get a chance to volunteer in their community.
While the tasks were primarily intended to be a way of giving something back to the community, they were at the same time designed to promote team building.
