ENTHUSIASTIC artists and artisans of the Bucks Cross Art Group are busy putting the finishing touches to an array of work for their Spring Exhibition. The three-day showcase will be held at Bucks Cross Village Hall from Saturday, May 2 until Bank Holiday Monday, May 4.The art group came about almost by chance and was formed by a core of people who had been attending a watercolour class back in 2006.An increase in fees at their previous venue caused them to turn to the village hall - and since then the group has gone from strength to strength. Its members range in ability from complete beginners to experienced artists, all continuing to flourish under the help and support of tutor Tom Andrews.Their first ever exhibition in 2007 proved extremely successful, as did the event last year.Once again work will also be for sale and the Spring Exhibition will be open at Bucks Cross Village Hall from 10am-4pm each day. Entry is 30p for adults and children go free. Refreshments and home made cakes will be available.
