Immanuel Feyi-Waboso was again the inspiration for Exeter Chiefs as they cruised to a 38-15 victory over the Newcastle Red Bulls, who parted company with Director of Rugby Steve Diamond earlier in the week.

The Chiefs were in a ruthless mood throughout the first half, Feyo-Waboso crossing the whitewash twice to supplement further tries from Ross Vincent and Joseph Dweba to lead 24-10 at the interval.

Even a wind-swept Sandy Park failed to hold back Exeter’s attacking intent, and particularly Feyo-Waboso, who completed his hat-trick in the second period and another score from Alex Hearle underlined the win that takes the Chiefs up to a lofty second in the Premiership table.
