A NAME change will be just one of the subjects up for discussion at the South Molton Area 2000 (MA2K) AGM tomorrow (Wednesday) eveningMembers of the regeneration company - founded as part of the Market and Costal Towns Initiative at the start of the new millennium - will consider "Molton Area Sustainable Community", and Molton Area Community Company" as possible options.MA2K chairman, Tryphena Huntingford, said the name MA2K was already dated, and that a new name was needed to reflect the current aims of the company."MA2K has helped to achieve a lot of major projects for South Molton during the last nine years, including the Amory Centre, police station, and enterprise centre at Pathfields," she said."But there is a now greater focus on community networking and we need a name that perhaps reflects that."Anyone interested in joining the company is asked to go to the AGM, which follows a public meeting being held to update members of the public on key regeneration plans for the town. The event starts in the Assembly Rooms at 7pm.
