South Molton is all set for its annual carnival this Saturday evening.
The popular event organised by South Molton Rotary Club will have ‘Past and Present’ as its theme.
It will feature carnival queens, princesses and princes from past years, as well as tying in with the 50th anniversary of South Molton Rotary.
This year’s queen is Emma-Jane Oakley, the princess is Lola Parsons and the prince is Ryder Richardson.
The parade starts from Southley Road at 6pm. Entries are possible up until 5.30pm - entry forms are available from the Rotary Shop and Webbers Estate Agents in South Molton.
There are a variety of classes for walking, vehicles, trade and vintage.
A children’s funfair will be held at the Pannier Market during the carnival and there will be street food plus a pop up pub.
More details about entries are available by calling John Maxfield on 01598 710051.
