THE South Molton detachment of the Devon Army Cadet Force is celebrating its 25th anniversary later this month.A reunion evening is being held on Wednesday, May 27 at the detachment buiuldings in the grounds of South Molton Community College between 7pm and 9pm.Invitations have gone out to Colonel P King-Fretts and his then RSM who opened the detachment on May 24, 1984 and also to the Mayor of South Molton.There is an open invitation to parents and anyone who has had any involvement with the detachment over the years to attend.More than 500 boys and girls aged between 12 and 18 have enrolled in the detachment since it opened.
