North Devon has seen a rise of 30 JSA claimants in February compared to the previous month.
Unemployment levels have risen slightly across North Devon, but remained static in Torridge.
The latest figures from the Department for Work and Pensions show a rise of 30 JSA claimants across North Devon in February.
This makes a total of 640 claimants in North Devon.
The figures for Torridge remain exactly the same as January, with a total of 560 claimants.
Jo Harris, frontline manager at Barnstaple’s Job Centre Plus, said figures were likely to remain at this level until the seasonal Easter jobs started.
She said: “There has been a very small increase in claimants in the North Devon area.
“There is a lot of ongoing care recruitment at the moment.
“And we have a lot of new jobs in the Bideford area with the Aldi development too which is very positive.”
