Shoppers help Foodbank with donations

Customers at ASDA Bideford filled a trolley with donations within the first hour.

Bideford Foodbank volunteers were out in force gathering donations off shoppers at ASDA Bideford on Friday.

Customers were handed a shopping list at the store’s entrance with a list of non perishable items that would be of use to the charity.

Within the first hour, the volunteers had already collected a whole trolley-full of goods.

The Foodbank will be opening the doors to its new premises on the High Street today (Wed).
