Shop with cash to give away
The Original Factory Shop Bideford is launching its Make A Difference campaign for 2011 and is appealing to local causes to get in touch.
The campaign hopes to help as many causes in the community as possible by focusing on one each year.
Anyone wishing to nominate their organisation for 2011 simply has to drop into the store at 75-76 High Street and fill out a nomination form.
Staff at the store have been fundraising throughout 2010 for St John Ambulance. A new organisation will now be chosen for next year’s fundraising, with the store looking to raise a minimum of 500 for the cause.
Store Manger Mark Lees said: “The support we have had from the community has been fantastic and local people are really getting behind the campaign. We’re asking for nominations and it really can be from anyone in Bideford who needs a helping hand, whether it is a mothers’ and toddlers’ group, a local children’s football team or a support group of whatever kind.”
