Dog walkers are being urged to keep their dogs under control following an attack on sheep on Northam Burrows
A ewe was discovered with serious injuries on Saturday, May 18, and had to be put down.
It is thought her injuries were most likely to have been caused by a dog.
Now the Northam Burrows rangers are urging people to keep their dogs under control.
Police are also looking for witnesses to the attack to come forward.
Northam Burrows lead ranger, Michael Day, said: "While Northam Burrows is a popular spot for dog walking, owners need to be aware of the livestock that graze here and the wildlife that also call this park their home.
"Dogs must be kept under control at all times and if in doubt I would always encourage owners to use a lead.
"We would urge anyone who has information about this latest attack to contact the police who are investigating the matter."
If you have any information regarding the incident on Saturday, May 18, contact the police on 101.
