Shoppers in Bideford might find themselves looking straight into the jaws of a fearful beast. But the shark, which has crashed through the window of the Curious Creatures Gallery, is harmless. It is in fact the creation of sculptor Ned Morgan and is made from an old spin dryer and metal waste bin. Ned told the Gazette: Years ago I remember seeing a large shark sculpture someone had made crashing into a house roof. It was going to be big so I thought if it crashed through the shop window it would fit, and be a bit of an attraction. Butchers Row could be ideal for a larger sculpture hanging in the roof though.
