Series of thefts at Lee

POLICE are appealing for information following a series of break-ins in the Ilfracombe area over the last few days.

An honesty box in Lee Bay car park was broken into between Sunday and Monday. January 2 and 3. The box is used for people to pay money to allow them to park there. An unknown amount of cash was stolen.

The Memorial Hall in Lee was also broken into during the same period. A bunch of five keys were stolen and �200 damage caused to a pane of glass.

And a cottage in Lee was also targeted. Tools worth �71 were taken and an estimated �300 damage caused to a wooden door.
