Second Rotary Club for Braunton

FOLLOWING a successful drive to recruit new members last year, Braunton is starting a new Rotary Club.

The provisional Rotary Club of Braunton Caen will meet at The Williams Arms on Tuesdays at 7 pm. The existing Rotary Club of Braunton continue to meet at The Williams Arms on Wednesdays at 1 pm.

Both clubs are looking for new members, male and female, who are prepared to take time in their busy lives to make a difference locally and internationally - and have fun and make friendships in the process.

Rotary International acknowledged the efforts of last year’s Braunton president Gerry Jones and at a district meeting a certificate of Recognition of Membership and Development Initiatives was presented to the club – the only one of the district’s 48 clubs to achieve this award.
