A rolling programme of 'drop in' family events with scheduled rockpooling sessions, species identification and craft activities will run throughout the day from 10.30am until 4pm. All activities will be free of charge, although there will be donation boxes available to support Combe Martin Museum.

Rose Day, Chairman of the North Devon Coast Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty said, "We are delighted that Combe Martin Museum, Exmoor National Park Authority, Ilfracombe Aquarium, Exmoor Zoo and Coastwise are joining us to present this exciting family event to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The Discovery Day will offer families a wonderful opportunity to explore and learn about our seashore and to take part in enjoyable activities with a costal theme.
