BARNSTAPLE will break out the tartan on Saturday as the town pays its own tribute to Scotland's favourite son.Visitors to the town can sample neeps, tatties, haggis and other treats during the Burns' Night celebrations* organised by the Town Centre Management in conjunction with a town food venues.Through the day and into the evening the action will be in 13 cafes, coffee shops and restaurants, while other locations will be the setting for pipers and poetry readings.The event on January 26 - the day after the poet's birthday - is the first of monthly events organised to promote Barnstaple.
