Year 11 student skydives for charity.
A YEAR 11 student at Great Torrington School, took the skies last weekend to partake in a tandem skydive for charity.
Lou-Lou Crow, took on the challenge raising £582 for the Teenage Cancer Trust, the charity that supported one of her friends whilst she was seriously unwell.
On the morning of the skydive, with her Dad watching, Lou-Lou said: “I felt this fear would be pushing me to my limits and that I would have tackle it head on.
“As we got to the edge ready to jump I wasn’t nervous, we just jumped.
“The view was amazing I could see the Cornwall and Devon coastlines and, amazingly, I could see the arc of the earth.”
Along with her parents describing themselves as ‘very proud,’ Natalia Moores, Lou-Lou’s head of house, said in Monday’s assembly: “Hats off to you Lou-Lou, you are incredible.”
